There are certain features that can be telltale signs of a nakshatra, even if the natives do not always look overtly similar across all features. There are a few specific features I love to check for when I'm suspecting that Bharani ą¤ą¤°ą¤£ą„ nakshatra (13Ā° 20ā² ā 26Ā°40ā² Mesha/Aries) may be present. Bharani beauty tends to have a high-fantasy, elven, almost spectral/ghost-like appearance with an elegant quality to it.
They tend to possess an oval to oblong face with sharp, pointy, and high cheekbones and small but lifted cheek apples. Their lower face is pinched/narrow and projected forward. Bharani's elven eyes are small to medium in size, generally medium-set, and upturned, with a bright and lucid appearance. Their eyes are typically slightly deep-set and sometimes lightly hooded. Their brows are most often lifted, but more straight in shape (rather than strongly arched). Their coloring tends to be light in regards to their genetic background, with a spectral & hazy low contrast. Bharani's lips tend to be thin to medium in size, and (like trine Venus-ruled Purva Ashada nakshatra) they often have a high nose bridge with the prescence of a bump. Often times, they have high-set ears. Their bone structure is light, delicate, and elongated overall, and Bharani also tends to be one of the nakshatras which can tend towards a fuller, softer body in terms of weight.
You can watch my new Youtube-short to see Bharani beauty in motion (it can also be found on instagram @claire.nakti or tiktok @clairenakti). As with everything in astrology, these features to check for are a tendency not a rule for Bharani's physical appearance. A person's other primary placements will bring in features as well, though one will tend to come to the surface the most strongly (relating to their dominant planet); one can have a Bharani primary placement but be dominated by one of their other primary placements instead.
In this way, I seek in these posts to isolate the Bharani nakshatra appearance influence as much as possible by finding the most consistent common physical ground amongst its natives, while having awareness that each individual you're seeing has other astrological influences at play as well that make them unique. I wanted to make these posts so that you don't have to rely on two people looking strikingly similar to know they share a nakshatra, but rather can more consciously/logically check for certain revealing features even amongst people who have many differences.
I've explored Bharani fully, deep diving into this nakshatra's mysteries, in a three-part video series on my youtube channel (beginning with the video I've linked below), & in a correlating ebook.
